New Madison art exhibit opens

“Scribe,” an oil on canvas creation of Kelly Lonergan, is just one of the Madison County artist’s works on display through Oct. 20 in the Walker Fine Arts Center at Woodberry Forest School in Madison County. The center will host a reception for Lonergan 6:30 p.m. Sept. 11.

A reception for Madison County artist Kelly Lonergan is slated for 6:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 11 at Woodberry Forest School in Madison County, in Woodberry’s Walker Fine Arts Center. Lonergan, a studio art and art history teacher at Woodberry, has a new show featuring his paintings and drawings on exhibit at the center. The show, “Tracer: Twenty Years in Review,” is now open and continues through Oct. 20.

The center is open 9 a.m.-5 p.m. seven days a week.
