Rock Hall Baptist Church’s Men’s and Women’s Day event is set for 11 a.m. Sunday, May 3 and will feature guest minister Cleo Frye of Calvary Haywood Church. Lunch will follow the morning service. Crooked Run Baptist Church, Rapidan, has changed its worship service times to better serve the congregation and the community. Camp Shenandoah Springs in Haywood urges church, school and sport groups to book early for spring and summer weekends. Retreat weekends offer canoeing, swimming, fishing, horse back riding, hiking, chuck-wagon meals by crackling fires, not to mention delicious home-cooking.
