Thanks for Yule help; remember stocking

The town of Madison and the Madison Chamber of Commerce thank all that participated and came to the downtown Madison Christmas tree lighting and parade on Dec. 6.  Thanks to Ann Benzinger for the wonderful cookies, Sheetz for the much needed hot chocolate, the town, county (especially the facilities and recreation department for getting us a new tree and helping so much), Jack Fray and the Madison County Volunteer Fire Company, the sheriff’s department, VDOT, Greenscapes and the other businesses that hosted open houses for their hard work and of course Santa! Thanks also to The Madison County Eagle for its coverage!

A special thanks to the Rev. Brad Jackson and Melissa Ryder who led in the rejoicing!

Thanks in advance for donating to Toys for Tots this year. Polly’s stocking is on the Arcade museum’s door (weather permitting) and is also dedicated to the memory of Agnes Puryear this year!
