These are Madison County Sheriff’s Office digitally-generated composite images of two young women lawmen say faked car trouble and then pulled pistols on a Madison man they approached for help.
Two young women pretended they had car trouble, then pulled out pistols and robbed a Madison County man last week, authorities say, adding they are seeking the public’s help in finding the pair.
The male victim, who lives in the 2000 block of Twyman’s Mill Road, answered an 11 p.m. Sept. 24 knock on his door and faced the first of two late-teen or early 20s females. She told him that she and a second female were having car trouble and asked if she could use the man’s phone to call for help, according to a Madison County Sheriff’s Office news release.
The man agreed and allowed the two woman inside his home. Once inside the home, the two women each suddenly pulled out handguns that they had been hiding. They demanded money from the man, who gave them cash. Sheriff’s Investigator G.L. Garrett declined to specify the amount of the cash.
The women then fled on foot.
One suspect is described as white, five-feet tall and weighing 100-120 pounds with very light-colored skin and medium-length blonde hair. She was wearing a short dress.
The other suspect is described as black, five-feet, six-inches tall and weighing 175-200 pounds with dark skin and short black hair. She was wearing blue jeans.
Anyone who believes he or she may know the women or who may have any information about the robbery is asked to call Investigator Garrett at (540) 948-5161.
